shape shifter within
nothing firm
no direct plans
in motion
just live
can't plan
don't know where I stand
following the wave
don't feel really safe
is this growth?

over the top
you came in
romantic gestures
convincing

but in real life
you want me one way
and I feel it's that way or the highway
except you came to me
ohh ohhh ohhhh ohhh ohhhh ohhhh

chased me down
followed me everywhere
and when you finally had me
then you need to mold me
like I should fit a type
and not just be bold me
exhausted
depressed
every day you sleep in
and I get up 
and take on life
stressed
I pay the bills
I have the house
I make the food
keep the plans
But you are like a boy
and less like a man
Not making this work
because it does not fit your internal idea of what you want

but in real life
you want me one way
and I feel it's that way or the highway
except you came to me

No commitment
no big plans
drifting along
are you waiting for me to take command?
I was calling for a partnership
not this sort of dynamic
I guess we both did not get what we wanted
is it better than before?
