Poem
When I crossed the violet bridge of thought, From crystal-veined Atlantis — I was caught By Lemuria’s breath, warm like a sigh, Where mountains hummed and stars walked by. There were no towers, no kings, no gold, But forests that whispered truths untold. The air was mind — the wind, intent, And time bowed down wherever it went. Children sang in languages of light, And silence glowed with inner sight. Their ships were shaped like dragonflies, Powered by sound, they danced through skies. No hunger there, no mortal strife — Each soul a thread in the quilt of life. They healed with tone and sacred flame, No one ever carved a name. I showed them maps of future Earth — They wept to see what it was worth. "Steel and screens," they softly said, "Will leave the living soul half-dead." In Atlantis we forged the atom’s will, Yet they warned us: "Stillness is greater than skill." Now I watch this modern world unwind, Forgetting its past, unseeing, blind. Skyscrapers rise where spirits fell, We mine the earth and call it well. But Lemuria breathes within the deep — A memory the sea still keeps. One day, when light and truth return, When fires of wisdom slowly burn — Perhaps we’ll hear that ancient song, That we were never meant to be this wrong.
