Poem
Verse 1- The bags are getting smaller and the price is going up, I just spent my last dollar on some hopes of smoking up, I know this ain’t the answer I am begging for this one my feet are getting tired walking on the run, the game done changed it ways I am hustling just to sleep. Tomorrow I’ll wake up and turn it to repeat. See Chrous- Committed minds and hollow points, Chalked out lines and broken dreams, It’s a street called life, Walked as Pheen, Lost in the search of better things, Stacking up those one way tolls, He’s all ed up with clouded goals, He’s holding back just blowing smoke, Theres a fire inside is it enough, To give in to not giving up, It’s a street called life, it never quits, He rides to die hoping for legit, Thats an open wound he’ll never mend The battle of street hooligan lost in the game with no way out, Verse 2- We write about the struggle cause it’s all that we know, the immaturity in our insecurities stagnates our growth, we’re defined by a resurrection that keeps repeating itself, the top of the world seems like a laughable offense, while the bottom is a place that we comfortably dwell, it’s a signature to our lost belonging, reckless and destined for hell. Chorus- Committed minds and hollow points, Chalked out lines and broken dreams, It’s a street called life, Walked as Pheen, Lost in the search of better things, Stacking up those one way tolls, It’s his clouded goals, He’s holding back just blowing smoke, Theres a fire inside is it enough, To give in to not giving up, It’s a street called life, it never quits, He rides to die hoping for legit, Thats an open wound he’ll never mend The battle of street hooligans lost in the game with no way out Verse 3- The dream was clean now were wearing x’s on our eyes for future references of good byes, we gave the L back to Loser put the IF in our doubt cause we’re running on E, thinking our LIFE gon run out, chasing a hi we ain’t ever gonna get, it’s an emotional attachment to a wasted reality, living so recklessly you could say we’re care free, cause we care to be free. Chorus- Committed minds and hollow points, Chalked out lines and broken dreams, It’s a street called life, Walked as Pheen, Lost in the search of better things, Stacking up those one way tolls, It’s his clouded goals, He’s holding back just blowing smoke, Theres a fire inside is it enough, To give in to not giving up, It’s a street called life, it never quits, He rides to die hoping for legit, Thats an open wound he’ll never mend The battle of street hooligans lost in the game with no way out
