Poem
(Verse 1) It starts out simple — sunlight on the floor But beauty isn’t always what we’re looking for It hits the glass, and suddenly it breaks Colors we’ve been hiding dance across the space You looked at me like something came undone Not everything’s revealed beneath a steady sun Some things only bloom in a softer kind of light And that’s the kind that lives in prism light (Chorus) ‘Cause light can show the cracks we try to hide It doesn’t choose a side, it just divides From the lies we meant as love To the wounds we rise above It bends the truth in every line Reveals the dark, reframes the shine It’s never only wrong or right It’s all a part of prism light (Verse 2) We talk like we’ve got clarity in hand But hearts are always shifting like the sand What feels like faith to me Might look like doubt to you And both can still be honest And still be true The shadows tend to speak when we’re alone But even they can soften what we’ve known Not every light will burn, not every shade is night But all of it belongs in prism light (Bridge) What’s bright to one might be dim to someone else We call it truth, then question it ourselves The prism doesn’t lie, it just reframes The pieces we believed would stay the same So I’m learning not to rush to choose Learning to leave a little room For every voice that sees the world in hues And every soul still searching for their view (Final Chorus) ‘Cause light can show the cracks we try to hide Revealing all the places we’ve denied From the battles fought in pride To the softness we confide It bends the rules and opens wide The heart, the hurt, the changing tide You thought it was just black and white But it’s all there— In prism light (Outro) Yeah, it’s all there... In prism light
