The Cross
 Before I was even born,
 In blood, you were torn.
 The road you walked alone was hard to follow.
 You showed me there is no other way but a narrow road.
 At the beginning you were a carpenter.
 You took me by the hand knowing this will last forever.
 You would stand tall toward the sun.
 At the door you sent an invitation.
 No matter how far I have fallen,
 With the sacrifice you made, you comfort me with devotion.
 You carried the weight of the world.
 After the rock was moved, you were raised with light from the Barrale.
 How painful it was with a crown of thorns.
 You held me close with open arms.
 At The Cross, it changed my life.
 The blood given was the greatest sacrifice.
 One day we will meet again.
 Through a parable, it will be green grass in the garden.
 To be in your presents is a blessing.
 The gift that saved us is overwhelming.
 I don’t even deserve a second chance.
 Through him and repentance he is the first and last.
 Even though I’m drowning in the cold,
 You walked beside me and saved me from below.
