Poem
Isaiah 43:2 “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” In the fragile silence, just before the morn writes her gentle story across the believer’s life there is a quiet reminder that no heart can scorn, adoring the Healer of all our grief and strife remembering the whispers of a life who is sure arising from the ashes, all the shadows are gone grace who brings assurance – we have the cure for all the dark’s dilemmas, lifted by spirit’s dawn In the stillness, where cool light reflects the soul abides a trembling moment, before we would know what it means to love with love that makes us whole, beyond the spirit’s yearning, in the ebb and flow… while my heart rests in the palm of His strong hand, my story continues on in scripts of light, flowing erasing the darkness, who wars despite what He planned the music playing, restoring me – Yes, I’m growing! In the Christmas tree shimmering with dreams in my eyes, stories written, rewritten, by a pen greater than my own reminders that His love, His truth, His grace never dies and when all is said and done, when all the seeds are sown I remember the victory of the One who hung on that tree, all those years ago, before my time was written into the song with rhythms of light, softly playing, soothing as I fall to my knee… with praises meant for the Son, to whom I’ve clung all along! While I can’t truly tell if what stirs in my soul is a dance, written by love that found its way through the pain to the light, the moment that offers me a second chance as the stars cry and the winds subside with the rain revelations of His love, sent to the hearts who believe He is the way, the truth, the life – the ever flowing light Who came to see us through, even though we grieve His love assures us that there is hope for making things right.
