Destined for hell, like the devil who fell, I reached out to the One who is brighter than the sun… and Oh, my, see the beauty of God’s Son! – by poet He owns the world, yet came to reveal the music of heaven – the grace that can heal He knows the heart’s worst, all the despair the story of a sin that should be covered in prayer He sees the darkness, but He is the true light while I may not grasp it all, He silences the night He colors the spirit in a glowing resilience promising each follower, they’ll know His brilliance He is like the wind, singing through the boughs seeking the spirit who His love will surely rouse He brings the still to the most beautiful story where He is, there is the gentling of His glory He leaves my heart feeling like I should praise with inklings of light to enchant and amaze He gifts the whole world with such precious peace nothing on earth can cause His mercy to cease He blesses the soul with a faith that never leaves as the thunders roll, His presence never grieves He is light and faith, joy, hope, love and solace rising from the tomb, proving His light is flawless He makes the blind to see, the darkness turn to light while some disbelieve, I have faith His love is right He destined souls to meet with the One who restores with His grace and mercy, He opens even locked doors He is the reason I know what it means to love unconditionally beyond where words can go, He isn’t just the traditionally He is the promise of a heaven where we are saved from hell leaving the darkness once destined to the angel who fell He reached out to my heart with assurance that He is the One even when I feel I don’t matter, He shows me what love has done He is the man, Jesus, who silences the winds with His voice when all is said and done, I know His grace was my only choice
