April 20 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on 1Kings 21-22 Key Verse – 1Kings 21:3 And Naboth said to Ahab, The LORD forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee. FAITH IN GOD WHO FORBIDS US TO NEGLECT OUR INHERITANCE FROM HIM God forbids us to neglect our inheritance from Him with His salvation-sacrifice Along His redemption by His grace He does suffice Since He never allows our souls to go to hell, as such terrifies--- In faith, we stick to His Word which truthfully sanctifies. God forbids us to neglect our inheritance from Him with His compassion Along His gift of eternal life that is our everlasting possession Since He never breaks His promise to us by His divine decision--- In faith, we cleave to His guidance, overcoming doubt’s derision. God forbids us to neglect our inheritance from Him with His greatness Along His pardon of joyful forgiveness Since He never allows us to perish in sin penalty’s perilousness--- In faith, we abide in His love, always bringing peacefulness. God forbids us to neglect our inheritance from Him with His wisdom Along His counsel and genuine freedom Since He never leads us toward emptiness of worthless boredom--- In faith, we involve in His work to advance His kingdom. God forbids us to neglect our inheritance from Him with His heavenly zeal Along His exhortation to do His will by His approval-seal Since He never disregards our commitment, prayerfully real--- In faith, we seek His favour by His precepts, not by what we feel. God forbids us to neglect our inheritance from Him with His assurance Along His authority while we forsake humanistic ignorance Since He never forgets our labour and perseverance--- In faith, we depend on His strength for our triumphant endurance. God forbids us to neglect our inheritance from Him with His victory Along His direction against anxiety and worry Since He never requires us to do something for which we will be sorry--- In faith, we thank Him, praising Him as we exalt His glory.
