Poem
Some things you survive without sound. No spotlight, no audience, only the quiet echo of your own breath as you carry yourself through another night. The world does not always notice that kind of strength, yet it is the most sacred kind. Survival, on its own, is a quiet kind of miracle. To still be here after everything tried to break you is a kind of grace not everyone will understand. Growth often arrives in silence. It is not always the bloom people expect. Sometimes it is the trembling rise from your knees when your soul is still aching. Sometimes it is a whisper inside you that says, try again, even when your heart is threadbare. Sometimes it is the smallest flicker of hope refusing to die in the dark. Life has a way of unraveling you, not to ruin you, but to remake you. To carve out the spaces that light can eventually fill. Pain can be a sculptor, shaping you into something softer, deeper, more open to beauty. There will be losses that hollow you. There will be seasons where silence becomes your companion. You will hold sorrow in one hand and still somehow manage to cradle joy in the other. In the midst of it all, something in you will deepen. You will begin to carry yourself differently, not because you have forgotten what hurt, but because you have learned to honor it without letting it define you. Do not rush to harden. The world will try to convince you that soft hearts do not survive, yet yours continues to beat with compassion. That is its own kind of rebellion. A tender heart is not a fragile one. It is a warrior dressed in gentleness. To love anyway, to hope anyway, to rise anyway. That is power. Let the noise of the world pass. Your pace is your own. Your journey is sacred. You are not behind. You are not broken. You are becoming. Each breath, each choice, each quiet morning you begin again is proof that you are made of more than what tried to undo you. That truth is enough to carry you forward. That truth is everything.
