Ah-ah-ah-ah ah-ah-ah-ah
Ah-ah-ah-ah ah-ah-ah-ah

Doom, accursed echos held in a miasmic gloom
Suffering and hatred, the vendetta against light
For mortals, war of heaven and hell eternal fight  
Mirrors mask, broken oath
Spectral unfathomable sweeping storm of despair
Substitute love, seditiously sordid affair
Sea of plague, swell of bodies
Past days gone, beautiful and fair
Cry for help, why even care?  

Poe-naaaaah me-aaaaah
Ah-ah-ah-ah ah-ah-ah-ah
Poe-naaaaah me-aaaaah
Ah-ah-ah-ah ah-ah-ah-ah

Faint faces lost in timeless night
No kingdom in the hollow planes
Nothing is there, the darkness reigns
No Ark to rise, abandoned star
Left to drown by hand’s exemplar
Swallowed whole by vast endless waves
Fathomless trench, the final grave

Ah-ah-ah-ah ah-ah-ah-ah
Maledictus a Lumine

Ruined temple, pillars of sand
faith unmoored, no soil to grow
The depth of agony, you’ll never know  
No prayer, no life, no kin, all rife with sin
Cell of hell, no man free
The darkness consumes me
Family portrait, dried ink brush
Devil’s contract, miserable and fatal
Ancestors gone, a failed baby cradle

Maledictus a Lumine

A brittle echo sculptured into a brine stone of sorrow. 
This, good for nothing, avalanche of tears, submerge. 
Swept beneath by the rolling surge 
Master’s hand, corrupted silver
The loss of sight, one’s own worst fate
Black hole opened, a soulless gate
The last trumpet sounded
There’s no time left, the candles fume
Then cometh the bridegroom  

Judgment’s command, as giants fall
Gnashing to wailing, the spirits mourn
No glory for the children of scorn 
Days passed grace, nothing erased
Liars, sinners, thieves, and here, I am
The light yields naught for the fallen man

'Hung from the tree in the Field of Blood
This broken tabernacle of Adam’s mud
Thus with violence, Babylon thrown down
Cast into the lake of fire and stone
Names unwritten, lost to the tome'
