Poem
Remember the soul, when you neglect the past remember the light, heaven’s gentle overcast remember the love, falling from His spirit, grace beyond the whisper of a touch in the music, in the trust birthed by the beauty His precious love, oh – what love!!! Remember the soul, when everything is gone remember the joy, the truth comes from knowing He is risen and He is giving each of us a second chance, forgiven – with faith He will lead us home, to the unknown where we will be known by the One who is our only hope, oh, such love! Remember the soul, who will never forget even when its inconvenient who will always regret the moments before sin was purged the memories of sin – I want to forget the time I burned with hate, anger, shame guilt leaves me doubting, but oh, His love is shouting… Remember the soul, who once lost all hope today it shines like the Son, the One who came to this earth died and rose and went back to heaven so, one day – not so far away we’ll meet Him in the air be carried to the life up there where our hearts will be so content He is surely heaven sent – Oh, in my last breath I know the joy of this quest His love will bring my rest… Remember the soul, who uncovers the shadow’s still the beauty and the thrill of knowing God, so real… in the spirit, He fulfills in the heart, He redeems inside, I know Him as friend without Him, I’d be lost in this world without Him, I’d be grieving the love love, beyond what I can express this is love that has surely blessed… Remember the soul, He has blessed, the soul that has gone on a quest, seeking the One who is light the One who abides throughout time the One who saved my life when He lived and died, then rose, a sacrifice for those souls, like mine, who believe He is the answer to our fear He is the love that we hear – He is always near, Blessing souls who believe, even when there is grief He is the One who will never deceive and oh, how I believe He is the love that I’ll always see, when I seek… the One who makes a way for me, the One who is grace and peace the One who gave everything for me – oh, how I love this Jesus – the song who plays in every season the music that stills my doubts the beautiful that rose through the clouds. Hallelujah! I shout… Hallelujah I shout!!!!
