FAITH IN GOD WHO IS OUR ROCK AND FORTRESS	

God is our rock and fortress in our war against sinfulness
With His hand delivering us from evil’s destructiveness
Along His holiness sanctifying toward righteousness…
Glory be to Him for securing our faith and redemption’s steadfastness.

God is our rock and fortress in our peace-seeking venture
With His Word prevailing over us midst His compassion’s gesture
Along His example of meekness smiting our arrogant posture…
Glory be to Him for governing our faith by His leadership’s nurture.

God is our rock and fortress in our service-commitment
With His guidance directing us toward heavenly achievement
Along His truth instructing us for ministry-engagement…
Glory be to Him for increasing our faith to conquer discouragement.

God is our rock and fortress in our pursuit after victory
With His presence cheering us against doubt and worry
Along His promise vanquishing failure’s misery…
Glory be to Him for upholding our faith through His Gospel story.

God is our rock and fortress in our prayer while in pain
With His response freeing us from confusion’s strain
Along His answer hindering us against selfish gain…
Glory be to Him for molding our faith in His perfect domain.

God is our rock and fortress in our soulwinning endeavour
With His salvation reinforcing our joyous fervour
Along His conversion working in us by His transformation-favour…
Glory be to Him for perfecting our faith to give a sweet smelling savour.

God is our rock and fortress in our triumphant flight
With His strength guarding us from grievous fright
Along His protection ensuring our discipleship-delight…
Glory be to Him for teaching our faith to stand upon what is right.
