I asked for a vision and I saw none

I asked for a vision and I saw none!
Walking into the store, I found myself wondering if I was good enough for anyone!

I asked for a vision and I saw none!
Going about my day I kept thinking about my decisions and whether I was worthy!
Worthy for anyone!

I asked for a vision and I saw none!
It was half past the day as I went back to my deeds of the first part of the day
My thoughts were racing as I found myself to be empowered and wondered what I was
Was worthiness a concept for me or for others!

I asked for a vision and I saw none!
It was after hours and I decided to sit and work my second job
Hours into the night I found myself to realizes that worthiness is a social concept
A social concept that focuses on societal beliefs.
My heart could not beat as my mind did the analysis

I asked for a vision and I saw none!
My heart connected with my mind.
Others were not worthy of me, as I was more than qualified for them
They saw nothing of me as I was beyond their social and mental class
Why settle for anything less than the best as they would not be willing to meet me halfway
They burned the bridge forever as their stupidity is bliss

I asked for a vision, and I was not seeing the vision as I was living the vision from the perspective of Allah. They never abandoned me as they saw my struggle. They knew that I would have to live the vision, instead of watching it in a movie format. They were there to remove these stumbling blocks from my sight.
What I want is taken by others; however, Allah has ordained me to have better.
My friends of other lands and states are confident that we will all meet in a large banquet. 
Those that have stood by my side are my family. 
All of those that have neglected and ignored me, I say to you
Vafanculo siempre!
