Poem

To all my children please know this,
I will always love you.
That is something that won't change,
No matter what you do,
Here I want to share a few things,
That my God has done for me.
First he open my blinded eyes,
And amazing things I did see.
I once was so severely depressed,
My life had fallen apart.
My first love who became my wife,
Had stabbed me in my heart.
God sent me to see a doctor,
She was a VA Shrink.
She developed a plan just for me,
To help change the way I think.
Next God sent a nurse to me,
Her name was "Edna Scott."
She gave me a box full of books and tapes,
About Him and they taught me a lot.
I would study them, then ask God,
To please show these things to me.
The next day while serving food to Vets,
Some amazing things I'd see.
I saw so many unexplained things,
If I told others they'd say "that's a lie!"
But to those who really want to know,
He'll show things that you cannot deny.
To each of my children. I want to say,
Don't waste time pleasing people,
Just seek God everyday!
Jesus did all of the hard stuff,
Sacrificing all for you.
Be humble and admit you're a sinner,
Then do what the bible says to do.
All Mankind is under a curse,
We are blinded by something called "Pride!"
Not one of us can see the truth,
Unless God himself opens our eyes.
When He does you'll see so much,
That you had no idea was even there.
Then through daily bible reading,
You'll become supernaturally aware!
