April 4 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on 1Samuel 28-31 

Key Verse – 1Samuel 28:6 And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.

FAITH IN GOD WHO INSTRUCTS US TO ENQUIRE OF HIM	

God instructs us to enquire of Him according to His loving kindness
Although we displease Him with our self-exalting haughtiness
We repent from not submitting to His reign’s trustworthiness… 
Now surely seeking Him by faith for His forgiveness.

God instructs us to enquire of Him according to His upholding redemption
Although we doubt His assurance because of our unbelief’s position
We repent from not rejoicing in His salvation… 
Now surely begging Him by faith for our sanctification.

God instructs us to enquire of Him according to His Scriptural wisdom
Although we defy Him in our very own freedom
We repent from not obeying Him to advance His kingdom… 
Now surely surrendering to Him by faith constantly, not seldom.

God instructs us to enquire of Him according to His clear commandments
Although we deny His truth in our guilty sentiments
We repent from not praying within His set agreements…
Now surely relying on Him by faith toward commitment-fulfillments.

God instructs us to enquire of Him according to His counselling light
Although we disappoint Him in turning to worldliness’ flight
We repent from not abiding in His righteousness-plight… 
Now surely walking along with Him by faith upon holiness-delight.

God instructs us to enquire of Him according to His steadfast authority
Although we deceive Him with our sacrifices, devoid of sincerity
We repent from not showing to Him earnest humility… 
Now surely thanking Him by faith for His protective security.

God instructs us to enquire of Him according to His precious name
Although we degrade Him with our carnality’s shame
We repent from not dwelling in His will of divine flame…
Now surely staying close to Him by faith, as His victory we claim.
