Poem
All my adult life, I have been inspired, By people from all walks of life. I met them and we became close friends. As time went on, I bound to find them each a song, Which perfectly described our friendship. When the relationship reached its peak, I felt the lyrics, seemed to be reciting my life's story, And deliberately depicted our frienship. Even the music, it was just perfectly composed, To define my feelings. Until last year, I met BB. Somehow, for six months, I could not find any song. Most of the ones I heard and played, Seemed to sway in front of his face. I could not decide, which song would be suited. I ended up trying lot of melodies, As they appeared in my head. Until one day, when BB said, "As you know, I like being left alone" His calm words, were like a sword, Piercing through my heart, Cut it into many parts. I cried as I bled, My blood stained my brain, Over the time, as the blood drained, It stained the words of the two beautiful songs, Which I naively practiced, They suited perfectly for BB and me. They engraved in my heart. It also made my life's journey harder. It was obvious and clearer, Since these two new songs, Registered in my memories. Not one single day, I do not play them, "Goodbye my love" and "Helplessly in love" Yes, they were like especially composed for me. January this year, someone walked up to me, We became acquaintances, Few days later, he downloaded a very old piece of music, He encouraged me to write the lyrics, As the way I could feel in my heart. I asked the name of the song, He went further to disclose the name of the composer. Whom I never heard of before, But the music had already embedded in my head, As a matter of fact, I heard it three decades ago, When I received a musical box. I might have lost it after moving places, But I shall never forget the name And the lyrics I made for it. The strange thing was, I supposed to find a song, Not to be given from someone. This was the first time, It was strange and I wonder if it will happen again.
