Poem
I do not chase what is destined for me, for I have felt what it's like to pursue a dream that dissolves on the horizon, leaving only unfulfilled longings and deep silences, like a song lost in the wind of memories that never return. I do not beg for love, for I have given everything and was left with deep voids in my heart, an unanswered echo reverberating in the silence of endless nights, when only the moon knows our stories of old. I do not wait to close circles, for unanswered questions are like shooting stars, disappearing before they illuminate your path, leaving behind only darkness and mystery, a game of destiny unwritten on the infinite sky. I do not force conversations, for I know what it's like to send the last message and then feel how silence becomes the only response, a silent monologue swallowing the unspoken words and turning them into hollow memories. I do not hold onto those who wish to leave, for I was the only one who tried to preserve a story written on the sands of time, where the waves of time erase the traces of our steps, and the past becomes just an illusion. I do not mourn what has passed, for I have lived memories until they became just shadows of the past, a film played too many times, losing its vivid colors and becoming just simple outlines of a forgotten yesterday. I do not fight to be chosen, for I have begged for a place in lives where there was no room for my true self, only to realize that I deserve more than love conditioned by whims and fleeting promises. I do not break myself to fit in, for I have been in a crowd and still felt completely alone, a stranger in a sea of familiar faces, seeking an authentic connection beyond appearances. I do not force doors to open, for I know what it's like to step into places that don't welcome you with open arms, where every step becomes a burden, and the soul remains suspended at the threshold of a cold world. I do not seek happiness in others, for I have found peace in my solitude, a refuge in the midst of the storm, where inner peace is a priceless treasure, shining in the darkness like a guiding beacon. I do not regret the lessons, for every goodbye was a rebirth, a new beginning where the soul learned to fly higher and freer, carried by the wings of time and the wind of change. I do not pretend to know everything, but I have learned to trust the process, to make room for peace, for purpose, for myself in this endless journey toward an undiscovered future. I no longer chase love, for I have learned to give it to myself, a gift that comes from the depths of my being, an inexhaustible source of light and warmth, that nourishes my heart with every beat. I do not cling to what was once home, even when leaving tears me apart, for I have learned to love the freedom in change and to embrace the unknown with an open heart. I do not rush what is to come, for I have seen how everything makes sense with time, like flowers blooming at their own pace, under the gentle sun of patience and the infinite sky of hope. I do not fear the unknown, for I have lost everything and yet found myself, a soul reborn from ashes, a traveler of time always in motion, always seeking and discovering new horizons. I do not seek missing pieces, for I have learned that I am whole, a story written in the stars, with each chapter a new beginning, where every step is an adventure toward my truest self. I no longer run, for I finally know my worth, what is destined for me will come, and I step toward it with sure steps and an open heart, ready to embrace all that is meant for me.
