Spring comes, followed by Easter’s joy
as I praise Him, the King who rose on that day
so long ago, with love we can’t seem to employ
it came from the heart who is the only way…

He arose to sing of God’s wonderful grace
stirring souls to believe in a love that won’t change,
a sure love, beyond words – it’s felt in His embrace
a real love, blessing the hearts who thought Him strange.

Spring remembers, as the story of hope abides
inside those who hear Him and believe He is alive
offering freedom to the heart and soul He guides
restoring the peace to those whose love will thrive.

He is the reason that I know what it is to trust,
believing the words He spoke, the words He wrote
when He left us the book that reveals we’re only dust,
but because He loves us, He offers His sweetest note…

Spring is here, and His blessings are pouring out delight
while we pray for the chance to be anointed by His Spirit
and reach beyond this day, to the everlasting, so bright
He speaks of love that bids our souls to simply hear it.

In this world, we know pain, sorrow and despair
but when we meet with Jesus, we can know life’s reason
the meaning for all of our trials will surely prepare
our hearts for the meeting that will come in due season

Spring is amazing and feels just like God’s voice
it is the moment before we sing of the rising Son
breathless words leave us without any choice
love came down and that’s where the victory begun
