Poem

I heard a loud rattling on the roof,
I thought it was the dog playing with my shoes
the rattling gets louder and louder so I went to
inquire but it was the rain pouring down
and a ferocious wind was blowing, all over the town
it split the awning in two land it  on top of the roof
and  the rain beats it down and scatter  its 
remnants all around and I create music
from the strange sound and all the people
gather around.

Spring showers is soaking the ground quenching
the thirst of the dry cracked earth, filling up gullies and streams
and pouring its sentiments all over my dreams,
and  melting the paradise that sits on top of my heart

Spring showers are pouring down, sprinkling it blessing all over the town, the buds are bursting from the roots and the trees are adorned with brand new shoots and everything feels refreshing.

Come let us roll on the Lawn 
until the break of dawn 
and soak our bodies on the wet grass
until the bad energy  has passed

Let’s get down in the mud
and unravel the mystery of the human race
 and expose the truth until they voluntary 
walk through the gate

Spring showers are beating on he ground
turning the city upside down, 
a long line of traffic paved the street
honking their horns at the people
they meet, a new found energy
has entered the city and it is moving in a hurry.

Hold my hands and walk with me 
I will show you what transpire at the
end of the sea, it happen in spring 1973
when two warring faction met
each other and took a boat to the
middle of the sea and from that very day
flowers start to bloom
and the sun came out at noon
and spring showers brought peace in my shoe.
