Lord, I'm just not so sure, what I'm to do.
A thought keeps saying to just wait on you.
Is that you speaking now, or is that just me.
Hoping this is what your answer will be.
I think of times past when I hadn't a clue.
Of the choices to make or thing I should do.
The voice now speaking, is it you or just me?
The direction to go I cannot clearly see.
The question I ask myself now at this time.
Is this now the Creator that speaks to my mind?
The voice of doubt is saying I cannot trust you.
And what if this time, He cannot come through?
The more I try reasoning, the less things seem clear.
This stirs something within me and then comes the fear.
Just for reassurance that you've spoken to me.
What word or passage can you impress upon me?
I just heard "Trust in me with all of your heart"
Don't try to understand all, let me do my part.
Lord on proverb 3:5-6 I now take my stand.
Please forgive my doubting you, I'm only a man.
Whenever the fearful thoughts come back my way.
I'll loudly proclaim this verse, though out the day.
It is my receipt from you. My guarantee.
That I can count on you to come through for me.
Each word in this bible was spoken by you.
Every promise hoped on has proven to be true.
Faith is the trusting placed solely upon you.
To do just what declare you will do.
Lord I take a firm stance now upon your written word.
Instead of the doubting voices, that I earlier heard.
Thank you Lord Almighty for taking this time.
To care so much of me and reassure my mind.
I'll share this with others who struggle to believe.
Saying, "Trust in God's word, if you want to receive!"
