Poem

Sticks and stones are physical objects
They can be used as a blunt weapon
But a lack of encouragement can lead to neglect
Which can lead to self harm and bad places we step into
It’s demeaning and undermining, it’s a spell unseen
Serpent like wave function, words can be deceitful and unclean
To call somebody fat and ugly isn’t just mean
It’s to hijack their confidence, and stagger their dreams
I need you to understand that I love you, even if you can’t believe it
I plant my love seed, and I let you conceive it
Know that I have been on the receiving end of both of em’
Of love and of hate, naturally filtered through me
Because I’ve learned to say  em’
“If you think you are more beautiful than me that’s okay weirdo, put on something nice, lay down a mirror, and draw a beard-o”
Don’t ever let anyone tell you who you are, what you need, and if you are worthy
Say; “I believe in me, and only me, thee, creator of my life, and of my imagination
I am not a hypocrite, I am in total control of my time, and of my space”
So I keep my words on a leash, inside my Space Station
