FAITH IN GOD WHO IS OUR REFUGE	

God is our refuge in our earthly dwelling
Since He comforts us from struggling
While granting our hearts with grace against tests’ so grueling 
So that by faith, we can bounce back by His victorious dealing. 

God is our refuge in our sin-grieving
Since He pardons us with His forgiveness, mercifully moving
While enabling our souls toward divine cleaving 
So that by faith, we can testify about His effectual reviving. 

God is our refuge in our prayer-gearing
Since He invites us to His altar with His nearness, desiring
While responding to our cries He is calmly hearing 
So that by faith, we can continue along our trust, heavenly soaring. 

God is our refuge in our goal-reaching
Since He commands us to do His will through preaching
While propping our commitment upon His Word’s teaching 
So that by faith, we can keep on in our Gospel out-reaching. 

God is our refuge in our wellness-seeking
Since He cleanses us from filthy worldliness’ stinking
While upholding our devotion for virtuous working 
So that by faith, we can serve Him along righteous walking. 

God is our refuge in our vision-beholding
Since He enlightens us with His Scriptural guarding
While guiding our steps upon His great life-building 
So that by faith, we can go toward development-ascending. 

God is our refuge in our blessed nourishing
Since He nurses us with His care’s refreshing
While assuring our minds against foolish gushing 
So that by faith, we can enjoy in His delight, worth cherishing.
