#5 Mystery of Lawlessness/ 2 Thess. 2:1-3 Now breathern, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day (tribulation) will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, (the Anti-christ) 2 Thess. 2:1-7 who opposes's and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, (the third temple in the City of Jerusalem) showing himself that he is God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you, that he may be revealed in his own time (after the rapture of the church aged saints/ the bride of Christ). For the mystery of law- lessness is already at work; only He who now restrains (the Holy Spirit indwelling born again believers in Christ Jesus) will do so until He is taken away. (at the rapture) 2 Thess.2: 8-10 And than the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His (second coming and return back to earth with the armies that are in heaven.) coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan (adversary) with all power, signs and lying wonders (false miracles), and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the truth that they might be saved. 2 Thess 2:11-12 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they may all be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Commentary. It's much better to be watch men and watch women on the wall (of Christ Jesus;) looking forward towards the day, and the hour, of our blessed hope in Christ Jesus! Than to be mislead and to be misinformed that you: Some how will be able to survive the time of Jacob's trouble/ the seventh week of Daniel. During the age of grace: Christ, died on the cross as, a blood brought anointment of all of our sins. Right now, the persecuted modern day church of Smyra (Rev.3:8-11), is suffering the wrath of man. Those left behind tribulation saints, will have to die for Christ, by being martyrs for him. They'll be living during the wrath of God on the earth! Choose Christ today before the age of grace ends!
