Because He is my always
He is the gentle in my heart
He is the beauty in my pleasure
He is the joy in my thoughts
He is the wonder in my wonderful
He is beyond what words can reveal
He is the light that shines so bright –
Nothing on earth can compare to this love!

Because He is my forever
He is the whisper of tenderness
He is the music in my soul
He is the blessing that will always give
He is the abundance of serenity
He is the prayer that I still pray
He is the wisdom in my sensibility
He is the feeling that never goes away
Because forever, He will always find a way!

Because He is my life’s reason
He is more than my mind can comprehend
He is the star that quiets the moon’s glow
He is the rain that heals the earth’s thirst
He is the wind that ushers in that sweet presence,
The presence of God – who seeks us out,
Offers us grace, love and hope –
Feeds our hearts, minds and souls,
Brings us assurance that we can cope.

Because He is my heaven
Where He is, that is where I want to be
He is the moment when faith held me,
Silencing every doubt I’ve ever felt,
Reminding me that love is what life is about,
Lifting me up from the filth and the mire
Offering me grace that will survive the worst
Giving me a peace that is beyond description
Abiding inside, where His love survives,
Comforting my spirit when I can’t find my way.

Because He is with me, always and forever
Giving me the peace that surpasses understanding,
Inviting me to live – because He is the truth and the way
He is the life that gets better every day
He is the reason that I can always say
When He holds my hand, I can face anything
When He lifts my heart, my prayers are more than words
These prayers are answered with love
That never ever gives up!

Lord, I’m nothing 
But YOU are love
And I know the song You wrote
When You whispered to my heart
I know the prayer and praise
That has led me to such amazing grace,
Fed me with a hope that lasts,
Lifted me from the darkest past,
Restored me with a light that chases away the shadows,
Reveals the good in those who believe You still…
Have the power to change lives, to heal –
To free the soul from the depths of hell,
To guide the sinner to a new birth, a new life
A new that survives the tests of time,
A new that decides to make the wrong right,
A new that survives because God is on our side.
