Times colours wrap around seasonal dreams Weaving pictorial thinking with silken words That sew themselves to the pictures you see, While warp and weft combine to story tell Of life within the veil of faithful hearing As trials attempt to rip the weft and tear the warp From earthen cloth that talks of tapestry hung, And story woven in earth's natural colour; Did you ever see such beauty shine as designed, When Spiritual hands guide the colours, Through warp and weft to form the life that sings Praises to the Creator of all things bright Bringing light to every colourful thread, Silken knots that show the true colour of man. And behind, see the tangled mess of confusion Undoubted weavers' beautiful infusion, tight; Every hue and shade are covered by the needle In every up and down stitch that verifies the whole, And the tapestry resolves all life's questions If you look and see, warp and weft, needle touch Watching weavers take the silky threads enough, Placing word pictures upon the canvas base, As earthen colours create the story of life Showing how creator gave up his life for tapestry; Now see the scene fresh woven, arms outstretched, In welcome homing, hearing all confession speech Defend the errors of the weave that pondered the fleece Falling gently, like petals from the rose that fastened Thorns upon the crown of Creators head, As nails fixed arms and feet to the tree, cross repentant, Forgiven in a death that innocent is woven Within the veil that caught the Son in rising light; Tapestry grew large as Creator sewed the thread, Warp and weft, in and out, picture forming, give the shout, As every silken scene is shown as life upon the soil, Wake up and view the tapestries glory, As each stich is part of the story that glows, heavens light, See how the empty cross now seen, echoes the tomb, When life flowed risen to the glorious heights of praise, Quietly with the tapestry scene, revealing what is seen; And thank Creator for the view that gave life for all, Tapestries stitching, celebrating every sunrise And set, when weavers combine the warp and weft, Creating the earth in technicolour hues that glow, Shining from the skies above, and in the royal blue The tapestry tells Creators story, life, death, And resurrection glory, this is truth through living Word, and each stitch is life, for all to see.
