"Azure Vistas" Azure vistas presented themselves to me rolling inwards the clouds like tumbleweeds mercilessly bump fallen angels off the map like torrents of rain falling petulantly on blunt contracts I glimpsed the sweet refrain of a resurrection swift upon a storm of golden rays the bare feet of new tongues and minds steamrolling steampunks doing things ad hoc, faux fresh, indifferently disparate shades of blue whip up my Sie a capital Y as in I, in the Am, of You and me the murmurations of underlying prophecy we play cards at the suede green table of grand Maestro unseen euchre invested ignoble, another’s justice perceived as irreverently noble, in forgotten poetic vestries; slow minds are confronted by orange skinned drones, political demons democratically brown-eyed snowblown cold and frozen for all time crisply seen in truth for what they truly are silent Chernobyls hiding sins, their devilled eggs and debauchery glide silkily in, impeachments swept swiftly under the whispy cornsilk rug, far from shining stars they walk the thin line like dead men chains around their ankles and their necks, yet still lecturing – can you believe it? what is wrong with those very dull Americans, taking in that red pill blown like a pile of leaves scattered and n’er in unity wide open the path is swept, the much wanted and needed blistering I cannot believe the gaul, you hear them state they’ve won, yet - the uncalculated temerity, all aflame, melting the hidden while in the hand of Daniel’s 7 the philospher’s stone Little Horn looks on all the world’s a stage that one thinks laughing, let all the beasts gather up their liquid words and thoughts vent their spleens in the chalice that’s not found true north, nor home, where a swift deal is never met Below, to be seated the seeded new king of the new world, a bitter tincture best delivered mind-f’d drunk, swiftly presented to the pursed lips and unsiezed warring minds of complete failures to over promise then under-deliver an unseized complete victory, the ringleader still sings his song once sweet becomes jarring and unbelievably a prophetic nightmare - and the whole show, in real time, dissolves into a catastrophic circus, run by blind monkeys who beat their chests like "Sieg Heil" baboons the unbelievable novelty that trumps are ever winning glistening beings is not all gold and is now seen full-frontal naked by the eyes and minds of an entire shell-shocked world, stunned frightened ptsd creatures and on the sidelines, the ever-present eagerly awaiting salivating jackyls smiling widely, they oblige and throw more rope to the overboastful checkmating their own hidden agendas and meanings a new trinity, is seated now on soulless fascist seats making swift enemies of friends – yet, quick to defend themselves, they dictators? "Preposterious!", they respond, "Never" … not like some – this is all bookmarked by the disgruntled servile we the people blues for burning those books at the stake later rather than much sooner; a civil war never anticipated at all now enters this story, its boiling in the mix their tribulations move on and on, the story appears never-ending, such a tragic comedy, a terrible unravelling mess now proudly presents in their ruptured rapture hearts still fondling their ragged resolution blue ribbons pinned democratically to their white-flagged breasts, they still bleet like sheep, no resolution is reached, the nightmare continues what comes next at the ball game? bullseyes become crucifix; the war room table swept up and cleaned in right red cruelty the pink befriended enemy is seen as pure and a much wanted ally trumpets are blowing they are business partners making good deals while the front lawn of a white house is denigrated to selling cars A Lion different from that of beast, long forgotten roars long-toothed and sharp lux vitae lux, lux vitae lux, is watching from somewhere above below, jaws now wide open, It is ravenously hungry to right the feed in Its Quickening’s path; the foggy clouds in each below’s subjective vision, seem to part, and like a storm It arrives from the tenebris fauces lucisv, and in the burning Light, It begins breathing everyone and everything up their uncoloured soft everything, all as one now, now all the same, no differences to distinguish who’s to blame, the corrupt vulgates of a blue velvet house of cracked cards, the marooned kneeling regiments by red republican dictator beds all steamrolled now, together, like bowling pins, taken up and out their valuable stocks mined and cleaned, held up like Baptist heads invaluable for all to see, ruthlessly ransacked the cue sticks chalked professionally, the blunt side swiftly unracked the cheap corner shot taken by one world trumped, blocked see the white balls miss the lined pockets, and the dog’s tail like a stick beating hits the mark the black balls wagging their transcribed prescriptions all licked the game’s at large the bad seeds sacked the carpetbag is filling up in Azure vistas a myth, the forgotten outsider the win, concrete Candide Diderot ‘25 “All that glitters is not gold.” “I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the Great Sea. And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other.” Vulgate/ Latin vulgata ‘prepared for the public’, feminine past participle of vulgare, from vulgus ‘common people’. tenebris fauces lucisv/Latin. carpet-bagging/Definition. dog's tails/as in "Wag the Dog". "Wag the dog is a political term for the act of creating a diversion from a damaging issue usually through military force. It stems from the generic use of the term to mean a small and seemingly unimportant entity (the tail) controls a bigger, more important one (the dog)." Rev 5 (NIV) Daniel 7 (NIV)
