Poem

Hi my name is anonymous and I am an addict. I never thought I would be the one to say those words when I have tried for many years to get the love of my life to admit he is one. I used to think drugs was the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I hated drugs for what it exposed me to, for what it did to the love of my life and how it has torn our relationship apart. I used to think DRUGS was the problem. 

Addiction is the problem, now I know you are asking yourself but isn't that the same thing isn't drugs what makes the addiction, but no that is where you are wrong. Drugs are a solution to the addiction.
Addiction is the by-product of learned bad behaviors mixed with anger, fear, pain and sorrow. It's like a bad cocktail. I must say I never thought the day would come that I would set myself free from chaos and into peace, how could something that sounds so euphoric come with so much pain. 

Peace- we fight so hard in our lives to get peace, but if we stop fighting we would just have it right?

What is my poison you ask, well... Love, Love with NO Boundaries [My love for him, the way it feels when we are together its such a high there isn't a drug on this planet that could get you any higher than the love that we have. Ride or die always got your back kind of love, once in a lifetime connection kind of love. People search their whole lives to have kind of love, it's just a natural vibe and flow kind of love. ] Being in love with an addict takes a lot. It's draining, exhausting emotionally pulling- it's everything Love isn't supposed to be.
