Shadow dancing,
her heart stirs in the still
memories flood her
mind embraced by the journey
celebrations of love and life,
softly playing in soundless cries
still as the effervescence sparkling
on the seas, rushing to meet the beach
in noisy dreams, echoing through her breathless
heartbeats…

shadow dancing,
the sands erase the dreams
as silence feeds the memories
quenching the thirst of yesterday’s
peace flowing through the spirit
chasing away the firefly intentions
coloring the heart in beads of graceful 
light, fading beyond the shadows
soothing the soul who remembers
a gentle touch, a kiss
the music of love – falling in whispers

shadow dancing,
bruised lavender thoughts,
quiet as the color blue,
soft and delicate, faded
beneath the caress of the sand
who leaves prints of pastel 
pouring over the sea’s careful laugh
rising to meet the music from the past,
a story, a song poured from the life
who feeds off the joy, softly flowing
heaven’s rhymes, hallelujah
softly playing, an echo of insight…

shadow dancing,
weeping through each breath,
tears flowing, seeing what God’s sent
beyond the shores, 
quietly falling – rain that sheds
dust, melting away the dread
hearts growing more alive with each prayer
His blessings fall over the spirit,
erasing the clinging pains
darkness grows, unspoken light
I’ll not forget…

shadow dancing,
where light lessens the ache
pouring out hope
through hesitant faith
brilliant images,
inspired by the strings
a guitar plays, stirring awake
the memories who say
what the dance must portray
a waltz of grace, a low soft praise
falling on the night
erasing the stories of what was
with the silhouette of a song,
playing soft, all night long
