March 2 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Deuteronomy 8-10

Key Verse – Deuteronomy 8:2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments or no.

FAITH IN GOD WHO LEADS US	

God leads us toward soul-purifying sanctification
In preparing our faith for His work’s optimization
According to His covenant’s instruction
Upon His commandment for our obedient function.

God leads us toward trust-strengthening presence
In arming our faith against fear’s terrible 
According to His testimony’s magnificence
Upon His invitation for our prayer-iridescence.

God leads us toward heart-melting holiness
In increasing our faith from doubtfulness
According to His righteousness causing our meekness
Upon His purity for our devout zealousness.

God leads us toward service-uplifting might
In guarding our faith from unbelief’s blight
According to His guidance along His light
Upon His truth for our worshipful praise-delight.

God leads us toward guilt-cleansing pardon
In compassing our faith with His love that does not abandon
According to His forgiveness of straightening-up reason
Upon His goodness that blessed us every season.

God leads us toward vanity-blowing security
In driving our faith to follow His authority
According to His supplies midst continuous prosperity
Upon His provisions against curses’ infirmity.

God leads us toward spirit-enriching treasury
In propelling our faith to share His Gospel story
According to His power that smites misery
Upon His glory for our grateful victory.
