In the Wake of Fear

Some have fainted, collapsing in fright,
While others are weeping, lost in the night.
Tears of joy mixed with panic and dread,
Flow from the heart, where fear once had spread.
In the face of death, life’s value is clear,
When confronted with fate, all humans draw near.
In the plane’s embrace, as travelers unite,
They hold each other, hearts filled with light.
For souls intertwined, in peril they find,
It’s God’s guiding hand that strengthens the mind.
Applause for the pilots, their courage on show,
As passengers gather, their spirits now glow.
What price can you place on this moment so grand,
When death’s grasp was thwarted by fate’s gentle hand?

An Unknown Landing

The plane lands somewhere, unknown and wide,
The fields stretch out, laid bare like a tide.
The rain lashes down, fierce with the breeze,
The world feels heavy and easy through the glass.

Dark clouds gather, shrouding the sky,
Spring rains pour down, as fears start to pry.
Though they’ve survived, many still feel the fright,
Anxiety lingers, shadowing light.

The plane’s mechanisms have failed, it seems,
Cut off from the world, lost in their dreams.
Staring out windows, they sit, silent, tense,
In moments like this, they seek recompense.

Doubt fills their hearts, heavy like stone,
Qusayin’s gaze falls on a house all alone.
To learn of their fate, he decides to descend,
From the plane, he steps out, seeking to mend.
