One month passed since we first met.
Although we sat 1.5m apart,
We hardly interacted with each other.
Except when I needed to ask you some favours.
Today, you glanced at my computer,
You were surprised to see,
I wrote something not in English.
You confirmed that was your language.
You soon realised they were birthday wishes,
Had prepared in Europian language,
To be placed on a headstone.
You asked if I could really speak that language.
I started having conversations with you,
And sang "La Paloma" all in your language.
You said you were impressed,
Both my language talent and my loyalty friendship with A.
Then, I summoned up my courages,
"Would you please help me with some English? 
I was desperated to get the grammar corrected."
I was amazed, you agreed to help me all the way.
When it was closing time, at your second home,
You wanted to continue on helping me.
I was touched and grateful to you.
I said to myself "A, thank you.
Glad you both came from the same country"
Few hours later, we both headed home seperately. 
I was so happy, even the work had not finished.
I could not believe, I found some one,
Who was willing to help me.
Little did I know, it was too good to be true.
For sure, you were honest, gentle, kind,
And friendly with excellent IT.
You never display anything out of the ordinary.
However, as time went by
As you confided your life stories,
I felt something deep down inside...
At the end of six meaningful months,
Our friendship fell apart,
I still wonder when and what I did wrong,
Why our friendship could not go on.
"It was not meant to be".
That was all I could say.
Today, it has been 396 days, 
Thirteen months since we first met.
How sarcastic it was to me,
The document you helped corrected then,
The matters are still existing at the present.
I still search for help with English corrections.
Despite, our friendship had ended.
I still have not get rid of the issues.
This morning, I planned to give you a present,
Which you had great interest of in the past,
However, I could not locate it,
I was some where in my place.
I do it to commemorate the day
We became two good friends
The day, I was gratefully to you.
Well, it was the thought that counted.
Ten days ago, on Valentine day,
Your 2nd home texted me,
"Please pick up rsv-

I could not do that. I have promised.
I would not set foot at your second home.
Anyway, you did not need to read it,
Because you had been very good at doing it.
