Poem

Got my last name, 
It’s Privislav until the day that I die. 
Glass full of pain, 
Paint thinner halves the days I have alive. 
Tomorrow is yesterday by the time the check came on by, 
I cast my net out wide, 
But the catch ain’t the same. 
Can’t even dash,
I just gotta dine. 
Sipping on a wine aged three hundred and sixty five, 
I’d wait longer for a taste more refined but I’ve got no time. 
Just wait, 
Breath a little more, 
Take a five. 
Sooky sooky sore, 
With skin itchy,
Give in enough to leave behind a legion of hives.  

Only got two shoulders so the recovery took me a while, 
And honestly I fell into a hole just too deep to try and climb. 
So when I’m rolling by a boulder I just settle for a rhyme, 
It’s easier than taking the stroll to work on the incline. 

They say drugs’ll lead you to an early demise, 
So if I flip a couple grams my mum doesn’t deserve any of the prize? 
The lows stung but what helps is the highs, 
On her birthday I’ll slip a couple grand, 
I just need to see her smile and survive. 
And if her song stopped being sung I’d set the cities on fire, 
My two young hands would bring down the high rise.
