Poem

Tear a hole in my heart
That's what happens when I am apart
You almost completed my soul.
Summer days still had me feeling cold.
Nights were not so bad, and days never felt sad.
There was this spark that electrified my sight.
Gravitating me to feel such beautiful endless nights.
Stars in the sky came to life.
Plants made shifts to bring you on my timeline.
The conversations were eloquent, leaving my mind mesmerized.
Look at me, so hypnotized.
I can't believe I'm blushing; let me hide.
Hide these sensations, but baby, it's your equations.
Hide these sensations, rolling deep down it's accelerating.
Complex equations make me say, “How can one feel such a thing?”
How can this be a synchronous ring?
Deeply held souls known before time would even let go.
I am the flame, and they are the fire.
We let go but still feel the strong entice.
My desire is forbidden.
I still see delicate passion and soft, gentle kisses. 
Eyes closed, hand holding that won't let go. 
Let it burn me up and wrap me up.
I'll just be a fool, acting like I never had enough.
 I know this is not true love but secrets to keep me afloat.
It's not even genuine love, not even unconditional love. 
My eyes closed as I walked away.
I wonder if the sun will shine brighter than today.
