Poem

Born of the same blood, yet worlds apart, 
Lines drawn in whispers, etched in the heart. 
Twin shadows dancing, a discordant rhyme, 
Two brothers bound by duty, not love, not time.

Family, a facade, a hollowed-out shell, 
God, Country, and Name, the unholy spell. 
A trinity whispered, a burden to bear, 
Devoted son, patriot, heir, always there.

Inadequate whispers, like thorns in my skin, 
Puzzle piece lost, where do I begin? 
The elder, a fortress, the twin, a fleeting blur, 
Lost in the labyrinth, searching for him.

But beneath the fractures, a flicker ignites, 
A longing for warmth, beyond duty's harsh bites. 
To break free from the script, the lines preordained, 
To rewrite the narrative, reclaim what's unclaimed.

For brotherhood forged in blood, though fractured and frayed, 
Holds echoes of love, whispers unafraid. 
To mend the cracks, with truth as the thread, 
Rebuild the foundation, from doubt and from dread.
