Poem
"Hey could I come?" "Sure." She's very simple I thought, she just hangs up on the time she bought. I ready myself and head out the door, the day is still out, my eyes will explore. I step on the sidewalk, a rhythm has already begun, my feet on the pavement, play a little song: Krri aa taa Krri aa taa Krri aa taa Taa Taa Taa Taa Taa Taa Taa Guess the gravel smoothed, the melody has changed, as my head slightly turns to a lady's leg lace. Silly some woman I think, over doing their silks to dress up their bodies, but I definitely don't mind the showcase. SQUISH ...I am not looking down, I do not want to see what demised I just caused. I mean, I know it's not crap, if it was crap, I would of smelled it by now. It was most definitely a creature, probably a lizard, if it was a lizard, I'm glad that I definitely didn't look down. I would of seen a squeamish display of a dying creature, that would have made the hair's on my arm scream. Haaaa... Air inside my lungs say me farewell, as I exhaled on the corner of her neighborhood. Every thing is familiar here for me; the white car, still rest in front of the old man's house that never leaves. Wonder why some elders turn into hermits? Probably to old to move, or maybe tried of seeing reminders of their youth. I reach her house and her door is already open, as usual. I come in to see her always happy mutt, greeting me with his mutilated blues clues doll; they've sowed it so many times for repair, that it' just a body with no ears and eyes...creepy. She just sits there waiting for me to reply first with a hello. "Hey what's up?" "Not much, need the computer?" " Ya, but I could wait..so what are you looking at?" "Not much, every thing," And that was all to her, so simple she speaks, but if you were to look at the computer screen, you would see she is looking at everything. Colors of the rainbow People crying death Kittens playing in Water Science in effect And in a small window, from what I could read, It look like she wrote some poetry: What is thought without the eyes to see?...it read. And before I knew I was done with her place, I said my goodbye, without her hello. She came to the door with a newly born face, the door creaked slowly, closing in to it's close, and there her face disappeared, which now I found I truly adored. I wondered why the sudden change, everyday with her it's the same. Now my thoughts will run, while I walk, she is in my mind, but in a different spot.
