January 25 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Exodus 22-24

Key Verse – Exodus 22:11 Then shall an oath of the LORD be between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbour's goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good.

FAITH IN GOD WHO UPHOLDS US OF OUR OATH	

God upholds us of our oath for gracious agreement
Yielded by faith to His authority of truth’s embodiment
Yesterday was past when lesson is part of accomplishment
Yes, now… He wants us to continue fulfilling our commitment.

God upholds us of our oath by His counselling light
Yielded by faith to His instruction against deceitful blight
Yesterday was fruitful, so we thank Him for hope’s insight
Yes, now… He directs us toward good success-flight.

God upholds us of our oath toward worshipful quest
Yielded by faith to His power for us to be fully blest
Yesterday was already history with our effort’s zest
Yes, now… He grants us His grace as we do our utmost best.

God upholds us of our oath midst His Scriptural teaching
Yielded by faith to His doctrines in our soulwinning and outreaching
Yesterday was peaceful as we prayed, sincerely beseeching
Yes, now… He answers with preaching as His favour we are searching.

God upholds us of our oath along examination of our heart
Yielded by faith to His cleansing, as from Him we don’t depart
Yesterday was time of rebuke with His reproving dart
Yes, now… He purifies us with forgiveness He does impart.

God upholds us of our oath against our spiritual struggle
Yielded by faith to His molding while in His mercy we snuggle
Yesterday was self-examination as we did stumble midst sin-tangle
Yes, now… He governs us to abide in His presence of joyful bugle.

God upholds us of our oath to overcome difficulty
Yielded by faith to His kindness that aids our infirmity
Yesterday was gloomy, but we move on with serenity
Yes, now… He ushers us with His security’s authority.
