Poem
S p a r k s of magic g l i s t e n beyond ice and fire, as you are the balmy flare that never dims~ amidst the rolling ferris of fate… Tonight… I write your name on Hathor’s crown of the sycamore sunset, with majestic beams of lotus lakes~ epitomizing the empyrean, for I feel the fervency that surrounds your presence, while the mountains veil the milky-quartz light above the valleys of the Nile where Cleopatra’s crescent shimmers in sync to the mellifluous memories of our love~ that feared not the scorpio haze of sandstorms. O beloved, when silence engulfs the deserted dreamscape, I hear the suppressed songs reverberating within your moonstone mind~ stirring my sleepless stars, to rise and burn in tourmaline tones of timeless twilight, as you’ve found the rippling route to my sea-deep haven, that awaits your embrace, while I float like dust of a nocturnal nebula, longing to caress the tenderness of your butterfly skin, cradling this chrysalis heart, when hope feels like an alienated metaphor of misery and melancholy. Yet, I see you, through the darkness that dwells in the cave of dusks, and words we wrote are the sonorous lyrics that nightingales croon, a reminder from heaven that you are an alluring adjective that fits between synonyms of eternity; there you swayed and swirled, there you were in the season of winged stillness. O bejeweled azure, I ponder, are you a feather from the Elysian? The smile you wear resembles white topaz, like the silhouette of jasmines splattering golden wine upon forlorn fields, as heaven’s missing an angel, ushering me to dance to the sound of ferocious winds. Who am I to question the stained stones of destiny? I breathe and I break~ I am mere human, dressed in empathetic elements of emeralds and ashes of forsaken love. But if I were to dream in a glass casket of black dahlias, remember, you’ve always been my strength. I will forever be the shadow that never abandons you, walking beside you~ like a galaxy of kismet kisses. So, when I am gone, if the world suffocates your fragile psyche, close your eyes, inhale serenity, soaked in sandalwood scents. There, beneath dancing diamonds and crawling clouds, you’ll feel my spirit, as you are my muse and music, poetry that tamed the epileptic phase of romance like a perpetual paroxysm, conquering Lilith’s liberation. ~ You are the p o e t i c pulse I feel through ink and r a i n ~
