Poem
I cross the river adjacent to sea to find a route to express my liberty but there were so many obstacles in the way, I had to kneel down on the ground and pray, and when the night has come, I had to change the rhythm that is sewed up in my gum,. I had a mission to complete but the universe had me dancing on my feet, the moment was so quick that I felt the eternal bliss, it kept me on my toe and brought down the house in midnight show. As the night shadows creep upon the wall, I could feel a great sensation around my space and I knew that I had to continue the journey that would make the universe happy, but I had to clear the way and let the fresh air come in while I escape in the dark. Sometimes the fog comes up before me, making it difficult for me to see but I was determine to use that route until I find the path that led me back to my youth, I wanted to go back in time to unravel what is on my mind and I will go there without leaving my personal space, just take me back in time to look for look the lost shoe. I couldn’t fit in those shoes because of the proportion of my legs, one was taller than the other, and when I went to school, I felt inferior to the others. Even though my peers weren’t mocking me, I was very conscious of my destiny, and my dad took me to many different doctors to find a shoe that I could wear to ease the pain and the shame that I had to bear. Some fit temporary and it made me happy but I wanted a permanent to disguise my disability. My dad started searching around for doctors, but they were all the same and my disability made me feel ashamed but as I get older and become mature destiny had me weeping on the dance floor. I wanted to dance but my leg would not give me a chance, but I still dreamed of the ballerina I wanted to be, with pretty flower in hair dressed in ballerina suite and standing on the tip of my toes but that is not the way the universe want it to go, I am still struggling with my youthful ambition and I need to find a perfect shoes. Tell me that you will wait for me, tell me that you will join my company; even if the new shoe doesn’t fit I will help you to design it. Faces shine brightly in the thick dark night, brought back my youthful days to life, hundreds of ballerina lined the stage with dresses made of fine laces. Beautiful ballerina putting on their ballerina suite, evoke memories of my youth, and as the musical serenade begins and the ballerina emerge at center stage with a perfect rhythm splendid smiles spilling in the audience; it’s as if they had seen a miraculous light. And so the ballerina took over the entire stage and dances all the way with grace wearing a shoe that finally fits her feet. I will design the perfect shoe for you to make your dream come true, please take me back to my youth to put on my ballerina shoe.
