Poem
She has been walking round the bed from the very day they wed, he was deployed to the Middle East and she was living at ease. They have never exchanged a single text but they kept holding each other’s breath watching each other on the evening show. Oh what painful way to go, with bruised agony walking around their space and the hidden passion smiling on their face. There was something bigger than them that exceed the passion inside, it is a special love that no one could touch and nothing on earth could separate them. Numerous times they try to kill the vine, but a fresh vine springs up on the other side, and the lovers continued to live in space and watching each other with grace. They have something profound in common, it is the way they behave when no one is around, they all draw in their inner selves and take advantage of the silent, distant memories, it is the life that they have never lived that keeps them afloat and give them hope . He sometimes has a strange look on his face, and you cannot tell what he is thinking when the whole village gather around him just to hear him sing and sometime the universe blends with his thoughts to figure out what is on his mind and in the middle of the night he just breaks out with a strange hymn and all the soldiers join in. She has been making up the bed for a man she has never met, the wedding was by Proxy at a private ceremony and that has caused her great worry. Her thoughts are bombarded by a soldier man from a distant land. She tries to keep her cool and break tradition with golden rule, but every time she tries to escape the army is always standing guard at the gate. And there is no way that she could escape. Many men come to woo her but she was already tied to her lover’s heart and the wait became longer and the love become strong. Who dear to separate the lover’s heart, who dares to unravel the mystery from the start, who dares to disrupt the lovers gathering and just as she began to think about it the doorbell rings and the post man enters with a letter in her hand. She looked at it carefully, with anxiety in her heart because she has never receive a letter from him but she opened it and found a single note, which reads, “Hon, meet me at the gate at noon, I am coming home soon”, she didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, it felt like a tale that fell from the sky of two lovers that just start to fly high. And she adds another layer to the lovers bed.
