Poem

THE FOG
The man was staring out into the fog upon the gray morning
It had been three days of confusion and of a mental fog that had clouded his judgment upon the actions of other people.
What he saw during the first day was a chance to be different and smile upon contributing a difference to the world.
During the second day, he saw the gathering of people who only came to fill the goals of strife and circumstance, rather than the potential bliss of being with those they loved.
During the third day, it began upon the eve of the night. He saw many doing the same as they had done on the second day, rather than reconciliation for the day was going to be over and the fourth day would begin a new; the people took for granted what they had when others did not have it.
After seeing all this, he turned from the fog and looked away into the direction of the past. Of course, this past was the future, as the man was living in a present. With thoughts racing inside his head, he began to believe that he needed to see the ungratefulness of others before he could truly be grateful for what he had and what he would have. Little did the man know That Allah was watching and guided him in the footsteps of true peace.
