Poem
Upon this path my spirit leads and I have a life time journey to complete You have me confounded in this barren place and blocking me from mingling with the human race, the spirit of freedom is riding on a horseback back around the town and the people are gathering all around to listen to the tales that have never been told. Faces of all colors and creed presses through the crowd for destiny to tender to their needs and the skies above deliver mercy with compassionate love. Upon this path I lay cold and bare waiting for the universe to draw near my lips are cracked and dry and all the moistures have gone out of my eyes and the seed of hope is springing up out of the ground and I can feel the earth spinning around. How can you sit there and pretend as if nothing has happened look across the horizon and you will see the rainbow communing with the heavens and an age-old proclamation that was pronounced upon the city is manifesting in the clouds and spreading energy all around. The morning with all its glory has woken up out of its trance and the fruitless moment crawls up the street disrupting my heart beat. Hundreds of birds congregate in the tree top observing the proceedings. The moment was filled with anxiety and it bankrupted my potential energy and something discrete was dancing with my soul and I pull and push until my spirit was made whole. Come and help me to complete this mandatory journey, I am going where the skies meet the sea and rest case with thee. My shadow are spreading on the wall and I can hear the echoes from afar, the pipers are singing a brand new rhythm and my soul is ignited with glee as my passion dances merrily by the sea. I know that you are leaving but please don’t leave without me but if you have to go leave something profound to take care of me, good friends and a dignified family. They are the ones that you never meet They are the ones whose journey is incomplete. They are the ones that keep your courage when are roaming the street and have nothing to eat they are your friends and family. Take my bosom to the sea and pour salt water all over me, spread your joy in the sun light and merge your soul with mine. Shall we complete this journey on the express train tonight and travel around the world sliding through day and night? We will leave all the troubles on the shore, until time is no more and we will write and sing and compose music that spans the depth of the earth and share our fortune with the world. Let’s begin this Mandatory journey.
