All the calamities are meant to
quiet noisy minds asking too
many questions
The signs of angst & friction
is an attempt to rub us
the wrong way quelling
what our minds have to say
In these days of endings
& beginnings
the way forward appears
to be shrouded
in confusion
In a blink of an eye ghosts
of the past return with
masks in tow as if
they fell from the sky
Observe the allusion
This is more than an illusion
as apparitions appear
in the form of
afterburn but why?
Learn from the lingering 
eeriness that has developed
while lines are being
drawn to certain conclusions
Can you hear me amongst 
all the confusion
or even see
what's before
your eyes?
The truth is written in the
skies just under the sun
illuminating what
has happened before
and what is to come
I'm seeing visions of faces
hiding behind masks
in fear of
being caught on
the wrong side of
falling skies
Those that can see know
why it's so important
not to cover your
eyes
Sometimes you don't see
what's coming until
after it's come
& gone
Be wise
Know the disguises come
in the guise of faces
with misplaced
emotional expressions
These are lessons in a class
that many don't know
is in session
