January 11 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 31-33

Key Verse – Genesis 31:5 …The God of my father hath been with me.

FAITH IN GOD WHO IS OUR FATHER

God is our Father, keeping us in His victory 
Kind is He in conquering our sin-caused misery
King of kings Whom we bow to in His glory
Kindly protecting us, since by faith, we stay in His territory.

God is our Father, blessing us with heavenly delight 
Kind is He in answering our needy plight
King of kings Whom we esteem in doing what is right
Kindly governing us, since by faith, we walk in His light.

God is our Father, cheering us in His goodness 
Kind is He in responding to our repentance with His forgiveness
King of kings Whom we honour in His holiness
Kindly watching over us, since by faith, we trust His wisdom-fullness.

God is our Father, instructing us by His commandment 
Kind is He in providing for our sustenance and supplement
King of kings to Whom we offer our sincere commitment
Kindly guiding us, since by faith, we seek Him for our accomplishment.

God is our Father, inspiring us around His grace 
Kind is He in accepting our praises despite trials we face 
King of kings Whom we cleave to while running life’s race
Kindly guarding us, since by faith, we stick to His triumphant pace.

God is our Father, uplifting us in His mercy 
Kind is He in focusing our vision toward eternity’s precious constancy
King of kings Whom we exalt for His marvelous faithfulness-persistency
Kindly dealing with us, since by faith, we show our prayer-filled consistency.

God is our Father, empowering us to be productive 
Kind is He in driving our diligence by His Word’s directive
King of kings Whom we magnify according to divine perspective
Kindly building us, since by faith, we serve Him --- zealously effective.  Amen!
