January 7 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 19-21

Key Verse – Genesis 19:16 And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

FAITH IN GOD WHO IS MERCIFUL UNTO US

God is merciful unto us along His goodness and closeness… 
Great is His faithfulness in responding to our prayerfulness
Getting us inside His compassion of loving kindness
Grabbing us, so by faith, we go out from roof of stubbornness.

God is merciful unto us along His gearing-up pressing… 
Great is His law for our holy life’s appraising
Getting us inside His strength-gift toward daily active rising
Governing us, so by faith, we grow upon His truth-pillar’s bracing.

God is merciful unto us along His graciousness every morning… 
Great is His power that overthrows carnal gaining
Getting us inside His protection; upon Him constantly leaning 
Guiding us, so by faith, we are granted wise winning.

God is merciful unto us along His glory for our journey’s divine glow… 
Great is His righteousness which our integrity and innocence follow
Getting us inside His preservation making our trust aglow
Girding us, so by faith, we overcome sinfulness-blow.

God is merciful unto us along His gentleness for our reverential fear… 
Great is His Word in showing us His instructions so clear
Getting us inside His truth as we hold His doctrines dear
Guarding us, so by faith, we abide in His will, drawing to Him near.

God is merciful unto us along His goading authority… 
Great is His deliverance for our freedom from hell’s captivity
Getting us inside His uplifting security to conquer vanity
Giving us His provisions, so by faith, we are filled from scarcity.

God is merciful unto us along His gladness from wilderness’ destruction… 
Great is His reproof that ensures our discipline and correction
Getting us inside His covenant for our nurturing commission
Greeting us with His favour, so by faith, we serve with jubilation. Amen!
