Poem
As the twilight came into view, Moon’s gentle glow grew and grew, Silencing the music of yesterday As the stars twinkled in play Remembering her joy and peace, Winds blowing their press release. There comes a hope that never questions, Moon and stars beautiful suggestions! Remember her light, fading into the past. Such a precious friend, so steadfast. Pouring out love that will forever last, A jubilant affection who is unsurpassed. As the night seeks to bless the yearning soul, With wonderful warmth, making hearts whole. She sings to the tune of laughter and grace, Finishing each song with a treasured embrace. As the glittering fireflies leave a soundless flash, There comes a hopeful spirit much better than cash. Life reminds the seeker that forever continues on, Silencing the sinister, so that all grief is gone. Remember her light, fading into the past. Such a precious friend, so steadfast. Pouring out love that will forever last, A jubilant affection who is unsurpassed. As the years turn from their dark fears, There is promise that God wipes away all tears. And, when nothing feels as it should in life, There is the faith that believes He’ll take away all strife. As time turns to decades and death takes its toll, Know that love is still alive and will always console. When nothing else can comfort the distraught, There is One who brings relief beyond all we’ve sought. Remember her light, fading into the past. Such a precious friend, so steadfast. Pouring out love that will forever last, A jubilant affection who is unsurpassed. Twilight sings her joy through the shadows who tease, Causing the heart God blesses to fall on their knees. Sing to the stars and moon, sing like love will ever be, Because His amazing presence is bigger than the sea. And, whatever comes, be it good or bad, happy or sad, There is the promise that His love will make the lonely glad. He is the answer to every fear or need, the reply from above, Where the most desperate soul can believe in His lasting love. Remember her light, fading into the past. Such a precious friend, so steadfast. Pouring out love that will forever last, A jubilant affection who is unsurpassed. This is why we fast… God’s love will always last God’s love is unsurpassed God’s love will always last Love this alive is so steadfast. Love this sure will forever last!
