Poem
Upon this road I travel tonight to seek my fortune beyond the sea. And when the heavens meet with the earth I will hold my head up high and whisper a prayer to the deity in the sky. I will look at the multitude around me and make a wish before I take my leave, I will walk the walk once more and meet with my friends and company before I walk through the door. It is the start of a brand new year and I will bless you before I go away, the journey is going to be long but I will hold onto my faith as I press along. Meet me in front of big Ben or I wait for you at the River Thames the meeting will be brief and you must hurry before crowd disburse into the street. I have waited for this day to come when my change would come; I have places to go, new people to meet and a brand new mission to complete. I have a new business plan to take with me and I will expand it when I cross the sea. I have been waiting for many years to get my path clear but the demons were so strong, I had to drown them in the middle of the sea one by one to get back on the path to fulfill my destiny. I have been on this path for a long time, journeying with the divine; thousands have crossed my path and I have encouraged many to walk the walk; my path is not your path, you must evolve out of the dark and get in touch with the inner you and your mystical dream will come true. Time is on your side and you must turn the numbers around to get the infidel out of the town; its presence is wearing me down and many times it causes me to frown, Oh what wonders await me I have expel the burden from around me and a radiant light is shining upon me; the weather is fine and life is filled with the bliss of time and it’s time to take my leave; oh one thing before I go, promise me that you won’t stand in my way; let me have the freedom to do my thing and if destiny put us together on the same path again, promise me that you will forever be my friend. The path is clear.
