Why mi heart would seh yes,  
When de world might cry no?  
De fire inside mi chest  
Burn hotter dan volcano glow.  

Mi queen, mi gyal, mi free bird, fly high—  
Ah see yuh in yuh glory, nuh chain could tie.  
Yuh skin glisten, de moonlight kissin'  
De curves dat mek man dream in silence, missin’. 
 
Ah nuh jealous—mi lust too deep,  
Ah want to see yuh dance in shadows yuh keep. 
 
Why mi would let dem hands weh nuh mine roam?  
Because freedom sweet, and freedom is home.  

De way yuh hips sway, ah worship in awe,  
De ting dat mek mi burn is de ting mek mi raw.  

Ah nuh fear love weh wild and black—  
Ah fear love weh silent, bound, and slack.  

Yuh spirit nuh fi bottle; ah nuh own yuh soul.  
But mi drown in yuh ocean, yuh tek mi whole.
  
Go mek de stars jealous, shine brighter dan night,  
If dem touch yuh light, mi still hold yuh tight. 
 
Cuz what is yuh body but temple, divine,  
Even when shared, yuh still always mine.
  
Yuh nuh need permission fi walk dis Earth free,  
And mi heart beat loud, but mi eyes dem see:  
Mi lust fi yuh grow when yuh wildness rise,  
De more yuh slip away, de more mi hypnotize.  

Ah dark love dis, shadow-touched and deep,  
Ah passion dat nuh slumber, nuh sleep. 
 
In yuh freedom mi find de ting dat ah crave,  
Naked truth, mi gyal—yuh make mi brave.  

So dance wid de devil, play wid de flame,  
Ah watch from de shadows, ah feel de same.  

For de more yuh explore, de more yuh give,  
Ah love yuh dark, wild, raw—ah live.
