Look
The clouds move for you
My raincloud heavy summer
You don't even notice
It is sly
You are a coward

This has to be a finale
Tomorrow...maybe the day after
Then we can call this off
And I'll call you pedantic
Pathetic
Significant other, I lack my significance

This world is revolving for you
For me it stays stillborn-heavy and fixed like a pin
I notice they look in a wanderlust flame
Pretending a shoe or a coat steals their senses
Or you, it could be you
Each window should make a Kristallnacht for me
Anything at all to let that guard slip
That split on my hip is scarred
We were semi-automatic and colliding clockwork
I had you removed

This has to be the edge
I could push you off or you could jump tomorrow
A year or two but not a day past seventy

I'm sorry, but you're far too attractive
My delicate ego is a flower, like a summer long it wilts
Call me indifferent and I'll call you a dead-bed
I'll call you perfection if it means you call it off


And never leave me.
