Poem
the lonely write their stories in hearts who know the joy of their light, spoken at night across the moonlit silhouettes where peace and love have met coloring the dreams in peace it seems… the lonely ache, a lasting fate while shadows mourn and relicts fade from the heart, breathing hope and light, restoring the glow beyond the stars who remember what became of November… the lonely kiss each limping gaze always alive, so God can amaze with His blessings, forever I’ll praise the One who abides – a spirit’s grace, the wonder of knowing, my soul it is saved – by the One who listens… to the lonely who remember all the words that fell from the lips of December all the world has been healed by the love who was sent here to color the world in gentle love that will forever glitter on the stars, in the hearts…. Wherever love seeks to sigh with the words – sent to the lonely, those who know the joyous that comes from loving beyond the hopes, love much surer than the mind can know love that came to us … from the Savior who was sent, with love promising forever from heaven above… only the lonely can truly remember the melting words, the poetry signed by December, signed in the blood poured out so we can see beyond the doubts to the very center of a love that is living in the hearts who believe, the souls who agree… God’s Son is our greatest need God’s Son breaths hope through the dreams God’s Son is the reason I believe… even the lonely can know the meaning of peace even the lonely can know the wind’s breath even the lonely can feel what it is to be stilled by the Father of love, the God from above, the One who sent our Savior to break sin’s power over us, the One who brought the answers – the answer is still written by love…. the lonely have always known, this love comes from the pen of God, the author of grace, the One who gave us His Son, the wonder of the greatest love… the lonely know sorrow, pain and doubt but, because of Jesus – they still shout… God is alive – He will never die And because He’s alive, our hearts will survive, Our story is the kind written over time, The story of a light, setting fires of insight Beneath those who believe He’s alive And His love will always survive His love assures me of a life that is bright, A life that is worthwhile, a life that reminds I’m saved by the One who thought I was to die for!
