Poem
Finality in silence. Cut to the core Moving through stone as darkness through nights gaze. We ponder Ever wandering Always wondering Seeking direction in infinitive paths. We are nothing But we are something. We are made, so shall we be in reflection of He. Stillness of water..ever sinking into its daily depths. Closer still are we to its murky deaths. Depths of earths dust from whence we came. Daily light’s departure from our glassy orbs grows dim. But how do we feed the fire of light? How can one stare into the sun whilst not doing everlasting damage? How can one love so purely when cloaked in false filtrations of identity? Only one..it is He. I am me..let it be. Stumbling and fumbling like a torrent of barbed wire tearing at fur. My internal thoughts are broken glass thrown to the winds scattered..a swirling torrent of confusion. Emotions all at once. Stuffed with cotton like an old Teddy..vibrations overruling my connective thought as arrows of words stabs from all sides. Incessantly prodding Insatiably demanding attention Minding mindful mumblings. Turn it off. Stillness of running dreams.. Streams of things of He. Trickle your fluid fingers through the river pebbles of my mind. That we may sit a while and commune. Be still the swirling winds..the hurricane of shards of glass.. Silence the stormy night The inner spoils of the daily dug grave. Ever mounting higher still as we continue this watery departure to its murky embrace. Be still my heart.. A steady Glow. Found in the Gaze of our one true King. It is He.. I am me. Sitting in the noisy confusion with pleading at my core. To be To see To feel To steal, nor shall I say to borrow So that I may not feel so hollow With life’s consequences of never mending mind bending noise of continuous thought. I am one with He. How can it be? For through the haze of all my days I selfishly gaze in mirrored ways always demanding to knowing I’d see me when I truly wanted to be seeing Thee. Humble humility Dirtied knees Forgiveness Thank you yes ma’am’s and don’t forget please.. When all I had to do was to raise my furrowed brow to the heavens.. Eyes closed to the suns violent light That I may see what had always been but materially hidden. It is He.. I am We. The glow that fills and pours like a substantial sustainability filling every unknown fissure inside darkened valleys no matter how crooked their alleys. Flowing down into the mire of a once cold night. No more. Be still..be silence. Let me be.. I am We.
